About
ScienceQuest is a science communication project to present challenging science to the layperson and non-expert.
At the beginning of all science, there is an idea born from our mind driven solely by visions and imaginations. Or citing Albert Einstein*:
"Most of the fundamental ideas of science are essentially simple, and may, as a rule, be expressed in a language comprehensible to everyone."

This is what science communication is about, explaining science in an easy understandable and fascinating way, providing you with the confidence that your imagination and curiosity are most important and not your knowledge is your limit.
The science of our times is mostly the result of collaborations of many scientists and a combination of many scientific fields. Science has become a social event.
The public interest in science is bigger than ever, as well as the faith that science could solve some of the most pressing problems of our times. Communicating science to a wide public audience has become just as important as the communication in the language of science between experts only.
Making science comprehensible to everyone often results in reducing the subject to the spectacular facts, which doesn’t live up to the fascinating details of the underlying science. Not least because of the complexity of modern science, science communication is not only telling people about, but also teaching people science, whereby any scientific field requires a certain amount of background knowledge and basics.
We at ScienceQuest want to provide you with a detailed and working
knowledge of different fields of science, which might inspire your imagination and motivate you to go further on.
I have no special talents, I am only passionately curious.- Albert Einstein
The ScienceQuest project includes also eBooks appearing on a regular basis in English and German. All eBooks will be available at a very low and affordable price. This reflects our philosophy that learning should not be a matter of costs and knowledge is for everyone.
ScienceQuest is a project by physicist and science journalist Bettina Roselt and physicist Axel Ewers.
